Many of my practical ethical interests involve thinking about biological questions—questions about life and the complex relationships among living things. Fortunately, I have been able to collaborate with biologists throughout my career. Early on I worked with Marc Bekoff. More recently I have been collaborating with a developmental biologist, Laura Grabel, on ethical issues raised by reproductive technologies and human embryonic stem cell research.
